The Unexpecteds is a collaboration presenting Joani Bye, Tim Porter and Linda Kidder in an intimate and acoustic format.
Joani Bye has been wowing audiences as a singer, musician and entertainer for many years, performing on T.V., radio, concert and theatre stages and in nightclubs. As one of Vancouver's top studio singers, Joani's powerful voice has been heard on albums by some of the music industry's most popular artists such as Cher, David Bowie, INXS and Bon Jovi, to name a few, as well as on countless commercial jingles.
Linda Kidder has garnered three International gold and platinum records for her work with kd lang in addition to eight wins for the CMA and BCCMA country duo of the year with Gary Fjellgaard, a BCCMA nomination for vocalist and bass player of the year and a Juno nomination for country duo of the year. Her voice can be heard on recordings by kd lang, Rita MacNeil, and Bon Jovi, as well as on countless commercial jingles.
Tim Porter’s magnificent guitar playing covers all styles and has been featured in such diverse projects as Diane Lines’ “Jump” show, The Canadian Tenors, Jim Byrnes, Brickhouse and Long John Baldry. Tim is a first-call guitar player for both live performances and studio session work.
Together, their repertoire is wide ranging and crowd pleasing. Enjoy!!

Parking: Please park in a visitor stall across from the house. If full, there are numerous stalls around the complex on each road and at the Community building.
Directions from Heritage Mountain Road: Drive up Heritage Mountain Blvd. and turn left onto Parkside Dr. Then, you take an immediate left (very first driveway) into the Treetops Complex. The road is 101 Parkside Dr. You follow the windy road to the bottom and take the last left, Then, immediately bear right and we are right across from the parking stalls on the right - Unit #154.
