Education without Borders
Education without Borders (EwB) has provided after-school education and mentorship to youth from disadvantaged communities in South Africa since 2002. EwB enriches education offered at selected under-resourced schools with supplementary mathematics, English, science and leadership programs. These programs expand students' future career and job opportunities, helping strengthen their families and communities and break the cycle of poverty. The outcomes of the program are closely monitored, and there are many anecdotal reports of increased student engagement in the program as well as overall improvements in post school education. To learn more about EwB, visit their website, or check them out on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
